Summary
Astarion's eyes flick to Tav. And for the first time this evening, his gaze rests. Tav's face shows nothing, carefully composed, unreadable even to Astarion's cunning. It makes his gaze linger. Voluntarily or involuntarily, Astarion isn't certain. He doesn't care. What he cares about is the aura that Tav radiates. He has seen it many times over the years, in Cazador himself as well as in his master's enemies and allies; that promise of power. It's delicious.
Astarion sees a way out of two centuries of servitude and humiliation under Cazador Szarr in Tav, a fellow victim of the mind flayers' abduction.
His next steps are instinctive. Manipulation is what he knows, what he's good at, what his master kept him around for.
The plan works—until Astarion realizes that Tav might be more than he bargained for.

Summary
A desperate girl once signed her soul away, longing for a life without fear. Now, as Tav awakens in the heart of a mind-flayer nautiloid, she realizes that fear clings to her like a shadow, and no pact can protect her from the darkness closing in.
For Astarion, a centuries-old vampire spawn, this cursed ship is more than a nightmare—it's an opportunity for freedom. He'll do whatever it takes to keep it, even if that means manipulating, charming, or breaking the heart of a naïve young warlock who seems determined to save everyone but herself.

Summary
In their respective, wary calculations, Astarion and Church know that they very well could be the death of each other. Years after losing his childhood friend and first love, Church reminds himself not to get too attached. Sabotaging those plans is Astarion, who just won’t leave him alone — all in the name of using the warlock as a means to an end, of course.
But when Church’s friend unexpectedly returns as a certain guardian in their dreams, it makes his already conflicted, burgeoning feelings far more complicated. And yet, as the trust between him and Astarion grows, Church chooses again and again to defy fate and the dark, corrupting nature of his magic. He learns to let go of the past that holds him back from embracing a brighter future — no matter how uncertain it may be here at the vampire spawn’s side.
No previous series reading required. Covers Church’s story over the course of the game’s timeline.

Summary
It has been a while since the last time things ended up going awry. And lately, it seems that if something could go wrong will inevitably go wrong... and if something goes wrong, it can always go even worse. Awakening on a beach with an illithid tadpole in the head and your memories all jumbled up - of course - is the "worse" you were hoping to avoid.

A retelling of the game's story, with a Tav and a companion Durge!
This might be nothing special, but I was inspired and let's see how it goes.Rating "Mature" because tbh I don't know what will end up being there, so I preferred playing it safe.
The title might change as I had no idea for it and opted for stealing a P!atD song and making it a placeholder title.Durge is inspired by my evil durge Jaws, a white dragonborn draconic (red) sorcerer.

As the story goes, the Urge will always find its way to the surface.
As the story goes, the Voice will always crack and turn to an anguished whisper. One is born a monster, magic pumping through his veins. Memory and knowledge lost to things beyond his control.
The Other is born from the very desire. Blessed and cursed with the 'gift' he can't control. One needs a person who's seen the darkness. A person who is ready to take the plunge, just like him
The Other needs a sincere connection. Funny how it ends up coming from lies as pretty as his own.(Or what if the Dark Urge and a Tav end up traveling together? What would happen when one is a wizard with a lot on his mind and the other is a bard from flirty (horny) jail with no respect for privacy? Summary
She paused as she reached forward to warm her cold hands over the fire. “If I had a gold piece for every time this kind of thing had happened to me I’d have…well, I’d only have two gold pieces. But it is wild that it’s happened twice. Let me tell you, the novelty wears off.”
Gale’s eyes went wide as he coughed out a reply: “Pardon?”

Summary
"A drow does not love, and does not trust. These things are weapons that can be turned against you, weaknesses that can be driven into your heart with more surety than any blade."
Ryme'dra Ulutar loved once - and swore to never be so foolish again. Raised by poor crafters in the lower levels of Ched Nasad, she lost her love to the conniving machinations of a Daughter of a noble House. Declared a murderer and a traitor, a life on the surface seemed too miserable to contemplate... but she did not know that living would prove the harder choice.
Gale Dekarios loved once - and it seems very likely to have signed his death warrant. Ambition has always been his greatest folly, and with his days quite literally numbered, he has tried and failed to embrace a noble, lonely death. Now infected with an illithid tadpole, he has limited time to work out how to cure his newest affliction, or risk a newly risen god from taking control of the city-leveling bomb in his chest.
But first of all, there's a sullen and amoral drow with a similarly terrible secret in their party, and he's never been one to resist a mystery.

Caspian settles down at a tavern after a long day of working dubious jobs in Baldur's Gate. All she wants to do is have a glass of wine, and relax in the midst of drunkards in every direction.

Summary
Astarion hadn’t looked away from her since breaking from her grasp, and he remained, carved from stone, unbreathing, undead. Her hand didn’t hold him—he could pull away, but she knew he wouldn’t. “Astarion,” she whispered. She could say his name every moment of every day, bewitched by the way it rolled off her tongue. “Let me take care of you. Isn’t it easier, not to think all the time?”
The pain and anger had leached from his face, leaving behind only the man, beautiful, vulnerable, solemn, hungry, and so, so tired. Her hand crept up, long, elegant fingers curving around his chin, her thumb resting delicately on his lips, gentle enough to part them, and she stroked, feather-light, his lip soft beneath her. “One last time,” she whispered, as entranced by him as he was by her. “Invite me in. Have dinner with me.”
——
An exploration of an older, selfish, and experienced Tav, defined by her quest for power and need for control—and Astarion, who might have bitten off more than he can chew. Has he found a powerful ally against Cazador, or merely exchanged one master for another?
Plenty of smut, plot, tension, and a budding mystery. Now in Act 3!
