Summary
No matter how whetted one’s appetite for adventure, no matter how much fun it’s been exploring the Medium with your friends, there’s only so many fisticuffs and hijinks and secret puzzle skulls a man can occupy himself with before the shine wears off and it all becomes a bit of a pointless fucking chore.
After four and a half months spent in a stagnant Void session and dealing with an incredibly fraught first relationship, Jake can no longer ignore his doubts. Dirk, meanwhile, won't rest until he gets to the bottom of things.
Their latest attempt at tomb raiding does not go as planned.

Summary
The hs cast is setting up the beginnings of civilization when a doomed timeline aradia shows up from the future.
She warns them about another version of the game arising in the future, killing the universe and themselves. She reveals it was no mistake that their team didn't make it to the humans universe. The game purposefully stacked the odds against them so that they would create a new universe, but not enter it. This way, there would be no fuss when the game started again.
They are of course angry, they finally got their happy ending just to find out it won't last. To find out it's a hoax. Any players who make it to the new world are wiped out during the new game, and the rare few who make it to the next universe...? Well, lets just say we now know where horrorterrors come from.
They reach one conclusion, they must stop a new game from ever starting in the first place.

Summary
On a dark, stormy night, you find yourself browsing the GameFAQs forums for any hint of new or cool games that might be coming. A fruitless effort most any other time, but on this night, you find a leaked walkthrough for a game that hasn't even been released yet: Sburb. You click it, hoping to find a way to kill a few hours' worth of boredom. What you find within is a tome of madness, written by one whose grief has only magnified the horror of their revelation. The story of one of the many sessions that were never meant to succeed.

Arise: Mage of Mind. (Better.)
On a young, low-tech world, the Mage of Mind has come of age to choose five fellow players with which to participate in a game of worlds. Even as Skaia strikes again, the Game itself is unraveling in the destructive aftermath of an impossible five-session merge, and is pitting sessions against one another in order to bring all running simulations to a close before its pixelated implosion. (Which, due to the paradoxical nature of spacetime, includes nearly any session ever to exist.) Memories will be lost, fellow players forgotten, and the last-first universes to ever be created will form as the final curtains close on Skaia.
But you're the Mage of Mind, and you don't know this yet.Distantly related to my Some Kind of Romance universe, but only by alternate self. (Earth C is too precious to have SGRUB inflicted upon it yet.) Also gendered classpect rules don't apply.
