Taylor's life is one dictated by goals and moments. Paths of her life that she's drawn out before herself ever so carefully just so that she could stay the course. A part of that is a grasp at control... the other is... worse.
She's known the end of the world was coming for years now - it always is, one cataclysm prevented after the other- just not in what fashion it's going to take this time. Yet somehow, Taylor has found herself on the path towards it, no matter her own wishes.
And she knows, as surely as she ever has, that she will have a chance to tip the balance. Whatever that means she can't be sure, nor how she'll do it in the end but what she does know, is that it's not only herself that's expecting great things from her.
And so, the task to face it has fallen to her, to prevent it.

This fanfic is inspired by Revenant, A Cloudy Path, and Playing with Lego’s. I have a particular soft spot for the Cybran faction of Supreme commander, but unlike in these inspirations, Taylor will have a regular Queen Administrator power. Instead of having canon Supreme Commander sized units, they will be scaled down. The ACU is 3m (9.82ft) tall and all the other units are the same relative size. As much as I like all the fictions that inspire this attempt, they all essentially end once Taylor really gets going and has the full army available. So, I am going about it slightly differently and hope you enjoy the ride.
This fic assumes you have read Worm. Any scenes that are too similar to Worm get summarized briefly.

Taylor chewed her lip as she walked down the street, carefully not meeting the eyes of any of the people wandering around in confusion. Some of them she recognized, vaguely, as neighbors and other citizens of Brockton Bay. Others she didn't recognize at all. Listening through her swarm had given her some insight into the whole situation, with multiple people talking about a broadcast that had gone out less than an hour ago... on the network native to this reality. The idea that Brockton Bay could just be transported to another world, though, was mind-boggling. Nobody could just hear something that strange and just say 'that's cool, so what are we going to do today?'
"Huh, an entire city from another world was just transported to Danville! That's cool. So what are we going to do today?"
