What if, instead of being proud and impressed at the end of Homecoming Tony instead is more than convinced that Peter isn't ready to be Spider-Man, and takes his og suit away too, saying that it he ever catches Peter being Spider-Man he won't hesitate to arrest him.
Hurt, betrayed and angry Peter starts walking down a different road, one far opposite of the one he used to walk. He finds some things, and yeah, Tony was right about one thing. He is nothing without the suit, he's so much more.

Sir took him in, and now Peter is the bodyguard to the top arms dealer in New York, and, soon, the world. Every day, they strike terror into the neighborhoods. Every day, there's a new city they've conquered from the depths of the criminal underworld. And every day, Peter strays further and further from the hope of good, and more towards the closing line of evil.
Tony Stark steps in, at the behest of S.H.I.E.L.D., and goes undercover as Eddie, an inventor wanting to work under Sir. In reality, Tony’s trying to destroy Sir’s entire shtick. But to take down the most feared arms dealer is a feat, one not done easily.
First, the billionaire will have to earn the spiderboy's scattered trust, and the two will form a bond only broken by those who formed it. Nothing will go right, but, then again, when does it ever?

With a heavy heart, he crossed them off one by one. Amends made, he supposed.
But when he got to the last one, he hesitated. It was the very last name in the entire worn notebook, but that wasn’t what gave him pause. Bucky studied the hastily scrawled name like it could tell him the secrets of the universe.
