Life didn’t turn out how Reiner Braun expected. He had dreams of making it big playing pro football. In highschool, he was king. College was turning out to be the same way. He was in a frat and playing for the university. His freshman year was the first time in a few years they made it to the national championship. People adored him and he was hot on the party scene. He had plenty of one-night stands. Probably the highest count in the frat. Men, women, it didn’t matter. He loved to have a good time. One night with a stranger would change everything for him, though. In a few weeks’ time, he was dead, but the only one who knew that was him. Becoming a vampire destroyed all of his hopes and dreams. Every day was hell, and he wished he could truly die. Reiner is grasping desperately to his humanity despite it being long gone. He struggles to cope with his new life. Things go from bad to worse when a detective comes in to his job one night. He’s actively working on solving the gruesome murders that started two years ago. Murders that Reiner committed when his dark form took over and he neglected to feed. Reiner’s guilt piles on as he gets to know detective Eren Yeager, and it puts him on another course for change.
