This is it, he thinks. He"s going to bite me. His whole body tenses, but he doesn"t move. Cannot move. He wonders how much it will hurt, as the teeth sink into his neck. Remembers the faraway look in Eddie"s face as he had talked about Chrissy biting him, how Steve had wondered if maybe it had been good, too.
Closing his eyes, he holds his breath, and waits.

But she sees the challenge in Jason"s eyes. Knows that he won"t take no for an answer. I will do this one last thing for you, she thinks, then I will leave. I will run from you, Jason Carver. Like a dare, she challenges herself. If she can drink this horrible, disgusting thing, she can do anything, she thinks. Even that.
She opens her mouth like a good, christian girl, and allows the liquid to pass her lips.

Eddie Munson appears to have it all: the looks, the popularity, the perfect girlfriend in head-cheerleader Jacinda Carver. He"s even captain of the basketball team on the verge of a state championship! But somehow he still feels empty and lost.
Chrissy wants nothing to do with Captain America, brunet version, but when he finds out her secret, their relationship veers into new, unknown territory. She sees trouble, while Eddie sees a chance at the girl he"s wanted from afar for years. The walls she hides behind are high, but Eddie"s never been afraid to climb.

Any chapters with adult or violent content will be prefaced with a warning, but there will be fairly consistent drug and alcohol use, and I cannot stress enough that Steve is eighteen both canonically and in this work. This is my first long fic, and if I write anything genuinely upsetting or problematic, I promise it is not on purpose, please just let me know and I will do whatever needs to be done to make this a safe place.

Normally Eddie would be a bit of an asshole, to make sure that his customer knew that he took things very seriously. But something wasn"t right about this deal. "Um? As in like Wizard of Oz? You know the scene where they pull the curtain to reveal the mysterious Oz?" He clarifies. Watching as realization dawns on the other boy. Taking the moment to shuffle himself in to the tight space of the bench, setting his lunch box on the table. "Oh fuck, sorry man. That"s not normally the reference I"m used to hearing from the movie." Steve laughs gently.
