As time grows by, though, her closest friends begin to wonder if something else, something more terrifying, is underway.

Let's shake the 2022 Wednesday series, shall we?
Wednesday knows Tyler isn't human, as a matter of fact due to her past she knows exactly what he is upon first meeting him. Characters are introduced and bonds previously unknown are brought to the surface. New twists to this already thrilling comedic mystery.
(Don't get your hopes up too high, this is my first time actually writing these characters so there is a learning curve)

She dropped the last sock to the ground and joined him under the archway. “Finally,” he breathed. He took her face in his hands and kissed her deeply (she felt her eyes close of their own accord) and then he roughly grabbed each of her hands and pulled them upward, locking the manacles around her wrists.

“I don't know how to explain it. It's like..” Wednesday thought about it, a frown forming. “Like the pain forces me to focus on something else. A distraction from my thoughts. The pain flares in my head and it's solid. I know why it's there, I have control over it.”
She dared a glance at their other girl who was staring back with a mixed look of interest and that same fear as before still swirling in her eyes.
