Summary
It is a rare evening when Essek does not have any visitors. Tonight, he has time to rest, and to rouse himself early enough to watch the dawn break. Early enough to catch sight of a familiar head of rough red hair in the window across the street. Early enough that the rest of the world is still asleep, and Essek can be only Essek.
He raises his hand, waving bashfully. “Good morning.”
(In which a shop assistant teaches a courtesan a touch of magic, and a courtesan teaches a shop assistant the magic of touch.)

Caleb wasn’t really expecting Essek to return from Tal’Dorei tonight, only hoping. For just a moment as he hears an arriving teleport, he’s delighted. And then he’s not. And then he very, very much is.
An evening interrupted. An unannounced houseguest. Another page.

Summary
It began with an innocent touch. A gentle gesture for a man starved of any affection in nigh two decades. Fjord had slung his arm around Caleb’s neck after a combat victory. Relief and joy tumbled out from the half orc in a rumbling laugh, and Fjord seemed unconscious of the effect he was having on the slight wizard.
The times Fjord didn't realise he was having an effect on the PTSD wizard...until he did.

Summary
Studying with Essek, much to the chagrin of Caleb and amusement of Essek, is exactly the euphemism that Jester thinks it is. They do study, though, of course they do. Just sometimes it's with Caleb dick-deep in Essek. This time is no different; it's a nice refuge from the frigid weather and neither mind the company, intimate as it may be. It's stayed a secret, too, somehow. That won't last long.

Summary
When Bren Aldric Eremendrud was a boy, whenever he felt small or lonely, he’d look up at the stars, wondering if there was life up there. Turns out, he was looking in the wrong direction. When alien life entered our world it was from the deep beneath the Lucidian Ocean, a fissure between two tectonic plates. A portal between the dimensions, a breach.
To fight the Kaiju wreaking havoc on the world, mankind created monsters of their own. The Jaeger Program was implemented. Jaeger. Zemnian for hunter. Monsters designed to put these otherworldly abominations back in their place.
One pilot couldn’t handle the neural load to pilot the Jaegers alone, so a two pilot system was implemented, one on the left side, one on the right. The two pilots had to link their minds to work in perfect synchronous harmony to ensure that the mechs could run properly. With technology being advanced from cooperation and a worldwide ceasefire to stop this problem, the Pan Lucidian Defense Corps was born.
