“Are you ever curious about that sort of thing, Ichimatsu-niisan? Loving a man, I mean,” Jyushimatsu gave him a sideways glance, once again trying to gauge his reaction. Ichimatsu took a deep inhale of his cigarette. He would need the nicotine if he was going to respond to THAT loaded question.
“Yeah,” He admits, his voice muffled by the smoke leaving his mouth. He’s not looking at Jyushimatsu. He didn’t want to. There was something so… vulnerable about this moment. He almost hated it. He never had the chance to say it out loud to any of his brothers, never even got the chance to even think about discussing it with them, but when he was with Jyushimatsu it felt like all his protective barriers were down. Like he could be genuine, or something close to it.
There’s silence between the two as they looked up at the setting sky together. Ichimatsu knew what he said wasn’t perceived as disgusting. Jyushimatsu was a pretty open person. The hesitancy made him nervous, though.
