Summary
Katsuki being an omega is great. Shouto’s glad to have another ally, he really is. It’s just… Katsuki’s enduring his first heat at the moment, and while Shouto mostly just feels sorry that he has to deal with that pain on his own, he also feels the tiniest bit of resentment.
As he sits in the living room with all of these alphas, he thinks not only of how Katsuki would make this sausage fest more bearable, but also of how compatible Katsuki is with the alphas in this room. How he needs an alpha to make him feel better during his heats. How, once again, Shouto is a step below everyone else in the room.
No one needs a beta.

As it all cooked, slowly, over a lower heat, he turned to the sink and made quick work of the dishes. Setting the table was an easy task, especially since there were only two places to set, and, hearing the click of the door and the gentle “I’m home”, Katsuki began scooping rice onto the plates, dousing a generous helping of curry sauce over each glob of rice.
Just as he was putting the plates down at each placemat, his son came through, trudging up to his room with nary a greeting for Katsuki. That didn’t bode well.
Knowing the two plates of curry would be fine on their own for a few minutes, Katsuki followed his son up the stairs, stopping in front of his now closed door.
Or Katsuki makes curry. Kazuhiro is upset.

"What the hell?!" Bakugou yells as he storms into the kitchen. It seems a little dramatic but that tracks with Shouto's expectations of him.Overly critical. Unnecessarily loud.
He looks over and Bakugou is coughing into his elbow, waving smoke out of the air and oh. Shouto hadn't realized how smokey it had gotten. The smoke is darker than it was a second ago.
Still, you'd think of all people, he'd be used to a little smoke.
