    But truthfully, the "weird" part is the only part that's accurate. He's determined not to be a weakling, and in spite of what it says on paper, he's not actually quirkless. Even before meeting All-Might and taking on the power of One For All, Izuku isn't quirkless.

    Not that anyone would believe it if he told them.

    Era doesn't have high hopes for her future. Truthfully, up until a few months ago there hasn't been a future; just the blurry promise of suffering to come. The journey from villain to ex-villain to vigilante has been... rough, to put it mildly. But Era can handle it. The journey from vigilante to hero-in-training? That, she has less of a grasp on. Era doesn't consider herself to be optimistic, but she is confident in her skills and her quirk, sure that her training will carry her through anything UA has to throw at her, and that in turn UA will keep her protected from the shadowy figures of her past, the threat that lurks in the corner of her eye.

    If only heroes weren't so god damned nosy, stubborn, persistent. If only she could remember to keep her useless emotions in check, avoid any unnecessary attachment, save herself and others from future pain. If only her quirk would just let her die. Funny, how that would make things so much simpler.

It’d just never happened before because they kept him so isolated from other children.

    She’d been told this two months after the two boys had met and become inseparable. Two months after the irreparable damage had been done, two months after she’d made the gravest mistake of her life and given Touya Todoroki to Hawks.

    Or: Hawks is eleven when he decides that Touya is his mate for life. He’s almost twelve when Endeavor kills him. Hawks should never have survived his mate’s death.

    He’s sixteen when a boy named Dabi saves him from Ujiko’s operating table, and he’s sixteen when he decides it’s been a long time since he’s met anyone he dislikes so much as this scarred almost-villain that disagrees with him on everything.

    He’s sixteen when he realises Dabi paid for Hawks’ safety using his own life.

    He frowns. There doesn’t seem to be any descriptions of what the drinks actually are. There aren’t even ingredients listed. “Um, what does the vastness of eternity contain?”

    “Indeed.” The man — Tokoyami, according to the name tag (where does one get custom script embossed name tags made?) — blinks at him.

    “Uh.” Izuku swallows. “I mean, the drink? With that…name?”

    “He won’t tell you.”

    Izuku jumps and turns around to find another customer waiting in line behind him. His mouth drops open. Even with a disengaged expression, and one eye entirely hidden behind thick bangs swept to one side, this guy is really, really pretty.

    Todoroki Shouto, though he was a first year he possessed one of the most powerful quirks among the newer generation of hero's, yet it was an even bigger surprise when his second gender was revealed.

    Todoroki Shouto was an omega?

    Surely this did surprise the lot of class 1-A, but they'd decided to still treat the heterochromatic male the same. He still was a Todoroki, the son of the number 2 hero, Endeavor.

    After the sports festival, all might using the last of One for All to defeat All for One, and moving into the dorms, the class seemed to try and pry his attention for themselves. Bakugou and Deku always competing till it got the best of them and split the two Dynamics apart for the rest of their time there at UA.

    Now three and a half years later they're all reunited again and out on the field, working together, but still fighting to keep the omega for themselves. A new villan is in town and kidnapping all omega heros without a trace. How will these two work together and try to save Todoroki, and what happens after?

    Which Hawks knows to be untrue because Dabi was the person that brought a very injured teenager to his apartment to patch him up, the kid might also have a concussion and Dabi was acting weird and Keigo still didn’t know what had happened.

    At least the media didn’t know it either because the person they claimed was dead was sleeping on his couch right now and the murderer was in the same apartment.

    It also didn’t help that Endeavor was even worse than normally and there was an angry blond teenager trying to hunt the villain down and blow his head up for some reason. Hawks was stuck in his apartment with Shouto Todoroki and the man that wanted to see Endeavor dead more than anyone else in the world.

    Oh, he also found some sort of magical staff and merged with it and now has several entities he can talk and interact with in his mind.

    Maybe he could be a hero yet.

Any evidence of fatigue and façade has been swiped from his face completely—Replaced by a pin-pricked annoyance; One no doubt caused by Shouto. His jaw is clenched, the muscles move too tightly, and Todoroki can almost swear that he sees a vein pop from his teacher’s forehead.

    But, something else is there, too. Something boiling. Something akin to question, akin to suspicion, akin to circumstance. Skepticism licks at the corners of Aizawa’s dry lips, the fingers on top of his arms twitch with a beholden urge. An inquiry is in the cards for Shouto.

    First, though—

    “Todoroki.” Aizawa’s voice sounds like a knife. Shouto braces for the cut. “Do you want to explain why the right side of my classroom looks like a winter wonderland?”
