Nun saß er auf dem Schiff Karaboudjan fest, hatte den gestürzten Kapitän Archibald Haddock kennen gelernt und musste versuchen mit ihm von Bord zu kommen. Nur so würde er zusammen mit dem Kapitän dessen Familiengeheimnis um das Schiffsmodell der Einhorn lüften können. Doch bevor er mit dem Kapitän an Deck fliehen konnte, vernahm Tim die Klänge eines Pianos. Wer spielte dort? Und warum machte Haddock bei den Klängen plötzlich so ein Gesicht, als ob er etwas Wichtiges vergessen hatte?"

Only then would he be able, together with the captain, to uncover his family’s secret surrounding the model of the Unicorn. Nous sommes juste après les évènements de mai 68 et le changement de société que cela a entraîné.1 an après, Tintine et Haddock entendent parler d'un groupe radicale féministe nommé la Ligue des Cassandres qui, si on tient compte de ce que raconte le journal de vingt heure, est très dangereux. Suite à l'arrestation de la cheffe de l'organisation, le patron du Petit Vingtième demande à Tintine d'enquêter de plus près. On ne sait pourquoi, mais Haddock ne semble pas très enthousiaste à cela et décide donc de rejoindre Tintine dans l'aventure. Une aventure parmis les féministes radicale de la fin des années 60 avec des lesbiennes séparatistes qui vont peut-être aider Tintine à découvrir quelques choses sur elle-même et sur son attachement particulier à Haddock...
