Summary
In the Unreal City, where time and space are never fully jointed, Madame Sosostris reigns supreme. But a bad cold, the Ides of April and an unruly client have been plotting to disrupt her schedule, blending the mythic with the mundane beyond recognition. Now all the city's voices say it's her turn to have her fortune told.
"She had a know-how, could concoct a little formula for every impressionable youth who hoped to find jewels in her basket of crabs. Like the one who sat behind her mahogany table now, looking out of place – they all did, in their own way, like the sailors she had sent to a heroic, pointless end not forty minutes ago after an eloquent reading. She knew they would turn up in her pack soon: a compelling card, the Three Lost Sailors, lots of possibilities. And you would see the details in the drawing, that this one’s hair had been red, this one already limped, and the third was tired beyond his years. From this they would gain meaning. But the girl behind the table, yes, she felt even more displaced.

Summary
I thought I would bring my meta (/poetry) café across to AO3!
My meta is always very image heavy, and this time it's also rather esoteric, as The Waste Land is not most people's cup of tea. However please don't let that put you off, it's also very beautiful.
Structurally, I start with the poem/imagery, which will then be followed by lengthy and in-depth notes. No really, this is enormous. (I will also write a more regular meta post later, with all the stuff that does not fit into this very specific reading.) Also, although this meta mostly centers on The Doctor Falls, it meanders through a lot of S10, and even further back.
But first, here is the second half of the fifth and final part of T.S. Eliot's The Waste Land, as filtered through Moffat Who. I hope you enjoy.

Summary
ok so when I got this assignment I knew I would have to do something worthy of its glory
so I borrowed a ouiji board and did a séance in my living room to ask the original poet t. s. eliot what he would prefer
he agreed that it is the greatest fan art of his poem ever created and also spelled out using spirit power the following message
ZSOZNGFJKISTHONONLIYLIVINDGGARRT
which if the spiritual contact hadn't been slightly disrupted by me being drunk would undoubtedly read
SONGFIC IS THE ONLY LIVING ART
hence I have endeavored to reenvision this beautifully re-envisioned poem using song lyrics in a method I hope will be approved of by both the original genius eliot and the responding genius, or Eliot's Soul Echo, who created the amazing visual tribute to The Waste Land that inspired this work.

Summary
A venture, a story, a romance.
A Late-World-War-III setting. The characters are seen coping with the changing world order, political, environmental or cultural. Also they have to keep up with the emotional transformations, psychological dilemmas and inner turmoils. A journey has to be embarked on, like one day Noah's arc set forth in past. But this time the destination is unknown, things are messed up. It's a time for reforming, rebuilding everything.
