Rex may be naïve, socially awkward, and totally convinced that Granny May has his best interests at heart, but he did bring snacks from outer space, so he’s got that going for him.
Becky Botsford (AKA WordGirl) is 11½ years old and exhausted for a lifetime. Balancing the burden of 6th grade homework, maintaining her secret identity, AND protecting the city isn’t easy, and now this? Overnight, she’s become responsible for the safety and training of a fellow alien superhero. She can’t take her eyes off Kid Math for a second without him getting mind controlled, leading evil boy genius Tobey to his spaceship hideout, or revealing his secret identity to one villain after the next. Honestly? Becky’s life would be so much easier if Rex would just… go away.
