Summary
Three years ago you were normal, the only demons you had to fight were your own, and you the most you knew of Vought and the Boys was what you saw on TV. But then you met Homelander at a stupid party, and woke up the next morning in a cell.
After almost two and a half years of you being Homelander's little project, Soldier Boy was woken up only go rouge and be put back under. Somewhere in there, you escaped. And before Queen Maeve went underground, she told William Butcher about the Anomaly, a powerful supe who recently escaped Vought captivity and may have an agenda against Homelander.
One month later, the Boys found you.
You spend the next five months helping them best you can, though your control over your powers is weak and your fear of Homelander makes you useless in combat. But you get an idea. A stupid, dangerous idea that turns you into Soldier Boy's keeper, giving him a second chance to take down Homelander, you hanging over his shoulder as a threat should he want to go nuclear again. It's exhausting and frustrating, and you might kill him and yourself as soon as this is over, but you said whatever it takes.
And this is what it takes.

Homelander’s threw off his gloves, bare hands coming up to the closure of his belt. Wow, wow, okay. Yeah he was definitely getting killed for this, but hey at least he’s going out with a view. Deep didn’t think he’d ever seen Homelander out of uniform. Ever. The belt clattered as it hit the floor and those strong hands tucked underneath the hem of his shirt.
Deep swallowed anxiously. Holy shit, he was going to undress. Right there. In plain view. Deep’s hand unconsciously came down to palm over the bulge in his pants, biting his lip hard enough to draw blood to keep quiet. He could practically imagine it, Homelander’s massive build that always seemed to loom over him. That big toned chest and shredded abs. Those huge fucking arms that could pick up whole buildings probably. Fuck. He was so hard.
Homelander’s hands pulled up on his shirt, the tight fabric giving way to- oh. Wait, what?

What? Annie was confused, "What was that?" They way his voice came out so soft, she almost thought she hadn't heard it, but then he continued.
"Why are you doing this? Why are any of you doing this? Why do you care so much about me?"Oh. The way Annie's heart broke at hearing his words wasn't easy to describe. It felt like an icy dagger had been lodged inside her heart, and then twisted and pulled out, leaving behind a gaping hole of sadness that wouldn't be filled until she heard him sniffle softly beside her.
Annie was silent for a few moments, so was Jon. Both were at a loss for words. Neither of them knew what to do. So instead, Annie settled on being honest. Even if Homelander wouldn't look her in the eyes, even if he hid his face in her chest, she still spoke what she believed Jon needed to hear and she spoke it with sheer conviction.
"Cause we see that you're not okay, Jon. We all do. And we can't- I can't continue acting as if nothing's wrong. Not when I love you. We all do, Jon. That's why we're doing this. Because we love you. Even the parts that you think make you unlovable. We love all of you".
Madelyn breaks Homelander and its up to Annie and the girls to fix him.
