There are times where we must let things happen. Sometimes it is impossible to step in and stop things, especially in reference to an annoying little thing who thinks her life costs less than expired pills probably supplied illegally to the literal embodiment of greed.
It's concerning how humorous it can be to watch a clueless person--who could be smart if she "applied herself," they say--basically throw her life away for a chance to give herself an experience that feels real, that mimics a perfect love. But despite doing such a piss poor job of imitating a blooming romance, she takes the bait.
Why not?
She doesn't know what true romance is and she never will; all the more reason to use it to your advantage.

The shocking realization the player has as slowly, but surely, he breaks the mold of typical players, and the Dealer takes a vested interest in a fair game...all the sudden becoming too-fair to counter the bad luck.
