In a modern Paradise, rebuilt after devastation struck the land, there remains four Guardians created by the Tree of Life to protect all of Shapekind from any further disaster. Cyan, Tria, Penta, and Orange, quadruplet siblings revered by Paradise to be the saviors prophesied long ago, kept watch of the Tree, it being their only life purpose. But, nothing ever happened, most nights they kept watch were spent making jokes or listening to music, which resulted in the Guardians only using their powers for training and useless tasks. This, in result, and to her siblings' disapproval, triggered Cyan to rebel and take a day off, sure that nothing would happen, and that writing her own fate would be better than having it predetermined. But, when a force known as the New Fresh strikes, and the quadruplets finally put their abilities to use, would just one day of that exciting change Cyan desired lead to reshaping her fate, or would it lead to something far, far worse?
