Long ago, the First Gods ruled the land that would come to be known as Ardonia. In a bid for more power over the mortals, they granted their power to some- in exchange for an unbreakable vow of unbroken loyalty and obedience. When the New Generation, the daughters and sons of the first Gifted, rebelled, a long and bloody war began. Led by the Three Protectors, Steven, Alexandra, and Herobrine, the Gifted finally purged the land of its stifling and oppressive rulers. Then, they vanished, gone to a new home far from the eyes of power, becoming nothing more than a bedtime story to those few who still remembered them.
That was five thousand years ago.
Now, at the call for aid from a young band of misfits, they return to Ardonia once more.
Senn Ataraxis- the adopted son of Thalleous, and an enigma to even his closest friends.
Ria Sendaris- cursed as a child with the bite of a werewolf, suddenly thrust into the world she had been hidden from for so long when a vengeful clan destroys her home.
Theia Voltaris- daughter of Tygren, and terrified that she is losing her sanity as schizophrenic hallucinations bombard her with horrifying visions of a future of death and misery.
This is their story.

Nestoria is beautiful, perfect, it has so many perfect things, turtles, animals, the sea, my brother Achillean Nestoris, I found someone that was the perfect friend, he was new and kind and friendly and nervous, He saved my life more times than I can't imagine what could happen... we were so close... too close... I could never accept a betrayal like Ingressus' betrayal, he perfectly fine, he was friendly and kind, and that's all I need in a friend. But friendships are ruined fast, faster than you can say "Nestoria is burning" I learned both the hard way. Yes not many people care for the sister of the Tidesinger also known Achillean Nestoris and also the Deathsinger's closets friend. Yep you heard me right "Closest friend" the war is tearing too many people apart, changing Achillean too much. He went from the peaceful, kind, nervous 'never even touched a sword' brother to a strong fighter who wants to stop Ingressus more than anything. I don't support it but now that a new war is starting I don't know what I can do other than fight it and try to slow Ingressus. There are so many young kids... kids that shouldn't be out here. But I will do what I must to protect them, even if it means getting banished by my own clan...

The First Great War. Ingressus was on the Ardonian side. Yet the more things change, the more things stay the same.
After an extremely dangerous battle against Pythus, Ingressus was found succumbing to the corruption of the Songs.
While he eventually recovered from his physical injuries, Voltaris healers soon found out that their Master could not remember anything about his life in Nestoria, nor could he remember events during the Great War.
Desperate to restore Ingressus’ power before the Clans have an excuse to meddle in Voltaris politics, they could only ask for help from the Nestoris that kept appearing in Ingressus’ dreams.
Meanwhile, Achillean comes to terms with the loss of a dear friend. Could he possibly restore their relationship from what was left of the Voltaris in front of him? -
