“Sources say you were reluctant to help the other legendary bladers, can you explain that?”
“What was the process of becoming a legendary blader like for you?”
Kyoya gritted his teeth, and finally turned to glare at one of the guards. “Can’t you push them back!?”
“They’re not technically on the construction site.” One of the guards shrugged. “They’re allowed to go up to this line, sorry pal.”
He wasn’t sorry. He didn’t even care.
He was just as bad as they were.

Kakeru comes out to his big bro Kyoya that he's being courted, specifically by Ryuto.
Kyoya freaked the fuck out, and so called in Ryuto for "clarification."
Which just ended in the CEO issuing a challenge, a dragon-typical "Worthiness Test," so to speak.
Kyoya knows he would sweep the floor with the kid, like with most people, so fighting him would be unfair AND would tell him basically nothing about Ryuto's capabilities.
So he's instead going to hold a 101-Blader Battle Royale in one week (haven't decided if the WBBA would co-opt this). Obviously Ryuto's going to sign up, and if he wins the tournament, he wins the favor of the big brother of the Alpha he's dating.
Being plot-conveniently rich, Kyoya Kishatu is going to rig the damn thing as well. He will invite/VIP specific bladers he also knows or speculates can beat the Beta-turning-Omega. To spice things up
