Who just happened to be kidnapped by dettore because fuck that guy I’ll slander him, fight me. Well anyway he got an anemo vision because freedom yada yada. Dettore the cunt that he is stole it and now Chuuya suffers vision deprivation and can’t remember. Then he merges him and a slumbering Arahabaki. Then celestia happens, Chuuya is forgotten and in a stasis and doesn’t age. Thousands of year ago by before he’s taken out of his stasis and experimented on, this inspired them to create Verlaine. Story follows cannon afterwards.
Terrible summary I know but it’s what you get.

Childe got sent to take the geo gnosis, alone. La Signora was sent to Inazuma to get the electro gnosis.Childe knew this would be easy. He promised himself.
But Zhongli knows of the Tsaritsa's plans, and he knows of Childe's weaknesses. He didn't take Childe's mission too lightly.
Or, Childe tried to take the geo gnosis, but Zhongli didn't like that.

Zhongli hadn't the slightest clue as to whether it was his imagination or not, but Childe had never once looked at him with such eyes, or smiled at him in such a way.
Furthermore, with Teucer around, Childe seemed to laugh and smile more often. And that was enough to rouse and stir something dark and foreboding and feral in the pit of Zhongli.
In other words, at that point, Zhongli would come to terms that he was beyond jealous - he was enraged.
And it was on this particular afternoon that Zhongli had opted to finally make these feelings known - to both Childe and Teucer.
The saliva of an adeptus could potentially double as a powerful aphrodisiac - though of course, Childe wasn’t aware of such a thing. That is, not until today.
