Quando Sugawara se muda de cidade e finalmente abre seu café, algo que vinha desejando já a alguns anos, se interessar por um de seus clientes recorrentes não era algo que estava em seus planos. O garoto sempre aparecia no meio da tarde, sempre rodeado de papéis em sua mesa, sentado na mesma mesa e com um notebook posto em sua frente, deixando espaço apenas para seu habitual café e uma ocasional fatia de bolo. Koushi sequer sabia o nome do rapaz mas isso não o tornava menos interessante, pelo contrário, o deixava mais misterioso.
Oikawa também não conseguia evitar reparar no belo barista que sempre o atendia sorrindo quando ele resolvia que era um bom dia para sair de seu apartamento. Buscando inspiração para seus livros todas as vezes que saía de casa, na esperança de que algo acontecesses, ele rapidamente se encantou pelo rapaz de cabelos longos.
