Summary
Goldia die Heilige gazed out at the warm sun through the curtains, and the blank sky beyond. She blinked, and the curtains changed, the hallway around her replaced by her room, near the open window. She'd been getting better at swapping between her headspace and the real world, as well as being able to differentiate between the two, in the last few weeks. The others still hadn't been able to 'control' their shared body since she had woken up, but they'd been getting there... Enjel, however, remained incommunicado, and Goldia was unable to ascertain whether she was even still... extant, if not quite alive.
Lebkuchen had spent many, many years after the passing of Father Hans trying to learn all she could about that fateful, hellish week, decades ago. The priest's... no, the madman's notes had held words of demonic powers, witchcraft, sorcery, sacrifice, and a chilling truth about the nature of Kieferberg's Saint. The nun had managed to use this knowledge to craft a charm to safeguard the life of her beloved, in their final meeting. Now, she's received a message in the dark of night, telling her of a life she could still save.

Summary
There is an old legend, passed down throughout the history of Kiferberg and the surrounding towns.
A witch’s forest, a strange figure who grants wishes at a terrible cost. If one wandered into the woods at night, then perhaps their wish would be granted. Thousands have made the trek into those woods, seeking their wish.
Elise thinks it’s a whole load of nonsense, personally.
But then she finds a mage hiding in her old granary, speaking of Elise’s supposed fate, to defeat the demon, and reclaim her heritage.
Maybe her granny’s strange ramblings meant more than Elise thought they did.
