Summary
Hauke and Cyrus get captured by some members of the Italian Mafia way back in the day before the events of IJ5, and Cyrus gets banged up pretty bad. Basically, this is just a vignette that explains some of his backstory with Voller's team and his relationship with the other members (Hauke, Klaber, and Stephan). It's all just OC backstory, character building, and plot. Cyrus and Stephan are both OCs, but Cyrus is mine and Stephan belongs to Jay (AKA KindListener).
I'm on a fucking high with the newest Indiana Jones movie (even though i have MANY thoughts about it, not all of them positive), and i'm suffering from a horrible case of OC brainworms so here you go. I'm hoping to get more content out for Cyrus and Hauke because he's just so underrated and i'm insane.
TL;DR: this is a self-indulgent OC drabble that I came up with on the spot last night. Enjoy.

Summary
When Cyrus joins Voller's team in 1959, Hauke doesn't understand the things he feels for the merc, or why he's feeling them. He tries to tell himself that he hates Cyrus for his unabashed openness about his... proclivities, but Hauke soon starts to realize he doesn't hate Cyrus because of his attraction to other men; he hates that Cyrus isn't attracted to him. (or is he?)
I have the worst case of OC brainrot on top of my feral hyperfixation on Hauke and the new IJ movie as a whole, so here, have a drabble that basically wrote itself.
