An interminably long, indulgent story that got quite out of hand.
The Xavier Institute is split into headbutting factions, inertia paralyzes the former X-Men, and Charles Xavier is dead. Kitty Pryde is called to step up and she doesn't do so alone. She begins the story stuck in the same rut as the Xavier Institute itself, read as her new role as co-leader of the X-Men challenges her, and see all the wonderful things she learns about herself along the way.
