Summary
In which a charming and dubiously-connected Frenchman hoves back into view; Peter gets to make several new entries in his Big Book of International Folly Contacts (Informal); Sahra displays an unexpected breadth of knowledge; Nightingale and Seawoll sneak around in the background trying not to make it obvious that they've started banging for England; and your author seriously starts to wonder if she's bitten off more than she can chew.
June 2024: Being completely honest, I think it’s unlikely this will ever progress beyond chapter 1. Sorry!

“This is not up for debate,” said Thomas. “Any objective will become irrelevant if it infringes upon my duty to protect Peter in the proper manner. I will not have another version of events ascertaining to levels of Covent Garden.”
I will not fail him again.

Summary
‘In the circumstances, we would like you to, um – if you felt able, of course –’ Nightingale shot a look at Peter, who gave an encouraging nod. ‘To meet up with this chap. Find out what he knows. Undercover, I mean.’
Seawoll blinked. ‘Sorry, what?’Peter stepped in. ‘We can’t do it, sir. He knows us. And we need someone believable, someone with authority.’
Seawoll gave him a look.
‘What I mean is, this guy’s asking specifically about the Sons of Weyland – they were based in Manchester. So if we could field someone who could credibly pass as an affiliate of Weyland, someone from Manchester, say…’
‘I’m not from fucking Manchester!’ thundered Seawoll, unable to control himself.

Summary
This imagines the debrief at Belgravia between the main players immediately following the climactic scene of False Value. Consequently, it is nothing but spoilers.
(Even the title is potentially a spoiler, which is why I've had to substitute a TLA. Peter would be so proud.)

Summary
Over the years, Alex had grown into the identity he’d created, filled it out and embodied it with the presence and gravity that came from years of hard graft and accumulated experience. He’d become the person he knew he was meant to be, and how many people could say that? And throughout those years, whenever their paths crossed, as they did with greater frequency the more senior he became, Nightingale remained the same as he always had been – handsome, polite, discreet, unknowable. A riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.

Summary
Molly made her way across the atrium. She had no need of the electric lights, of course; the moonlight and the refracted glare of the streetlamps on the Square filtering through the glass dome in the roof were enough.
