When the subway station was attacked by blobs of black fur and pale blue ink, Coraline, captain of the Fresh Squidbeak Splatoon and the former Agent 3, reached out to the other former agents and alies for their help against this mystery foe. Crayden, previously known as Eight before his memories where brought back, didn't hesitate to join her along with the other agents (plus Off the Hook & Deep Cut) to help find clues for this new threat. However he'd never thought that decision would land him in another world.
Or Agent 8 ends up in the DC Universe and has to survive in the crime ridden city of Gotham while solving the mysteries that tie their worlds together.

Summary
Not long after Commander Tartar's attempt to destroy Inkopolis and the world is foiled, Agent 3 wakes up from his coma with noticeable disfigurations from having been hijacked by Tartar. Concerned about the effects Tartar's hijacking could have had on Agent 3's noggin, Cap'n Cuttlefish assigns a partner to Agent 3: the Octoling girl who had freed him from Tartar's control and defeated the creature, Agent 8. Although reluctant to have Agent 8 working alongside him, a series of misadventures leads the two agents to begin developing… complicated… feelings for each other.
However, trouble is brewing for the New Squidbeak Splatoon and Inkopolis. Although Tartar and his NILS Statue were destroyed, the city soon finds itself falling prey to a string of squidnappings, only for the victims to turn up as Sanitized zombies bent on destroying the world around them.
But, with Tartar gone, who could be Sanitizing Inklings and Octolings alike? Will Agent 3 and Agent 8 ride off into the sunset together? Will I find my wallet? Let's find out together...
