It's a story I thought of right after completing the second chapter of the game, and while it somewhat keeps to lore of the universe, it also adds a lot of details and things that don't exactly have an official explanation. Even though it is story-focused fanfic, I also decided to add Kris/Ralsei shipping because I adore these two cuties and Susie/Noelle because why not. Even if it might seem naive and unexplained in the middle of itself, I hope that most of your questions would be answered by the end of the story!
ATTENTION! Fic may be undergoing severe re-thinking as I work on it, so some parts might be significantly altered, deleted or added anew. I will be warning about this in the notes for parts during the work on which I have decided to bring the changes in.

My alternate-universe take on the first original Space Battleship Yamato series, with a few bits thrown in here and there from Yamato 2199. The first installment of Book Zero of my "Galaxy Visions" alternate-universe of Space Battleship Yamato, which extends forward into time into the 2900's-the era of Captain Harlock and Galaxy Express 999.
Story being re-edited gradually to change the character names to Yamato names and also to add some specific scenes based on Yamato, cut from Star Blazers. This is sort of the fraternal twin to the version of this story I have up on FanFiction.net.
