Nozomi had always had a very specific plan for university:
Vehemently ignore her own needs and that ever growing voice of concern that something is deeply wrong, pick a major her parents approve of, ace all her classes, finish as early as possible and finally escape said parents and everything they stood for. Simple right?Maybe it would have been if she had kept her mouth shut. If her childhood friend hadn’t reappeared out of the blue, new and improved. If she had never talked to the aloof barista or her perpetually annoyed girlfriend. If she had never let her own shared interest spill out in front of the local dinosaur loving baker. If she had never engaged further with the deans daughter. If she had never talked to the awkward law student. If she had ignored the student athlete and her queerplatonic partner. If she had put up indefinitely with all the noise and textures and smells of the world.
Maybe then it would have been simple.
But they were starting to wonder if she really ever needed it to be simple in the first place. -

These will be irregular skipping around time ficlets and fluffy, fluffy Plot, What Plot stuff aka I write scenes on my legal pad when I can’t get them out of my head, edit them as I type and share them with you. New story = new chapter.

Continued thought: After retiring as an Idol, Nico writes torrid spy romance adventures about an Idol Superspy named Nico, she bugs Umi for combat details and Maki for medical ones; Maki can continue doctoring — for the moment.
