Summary
It was supposed to just be a party.
A fancy party, sure, but a party. Ballgowns and champagne and smarmy royals. The Chain had all dealt with some level of aristocratic life, however much they liked or disliked it.
Unfortunately, they'd rarely had to play this part, save the royals, and pretend nothing was wrong at the same time.
