Summary

Summary
At eight, Inuzuka Ashi is an average, if not energetic child. He goes to the Academy, fights with his brother, and helps his mother cook dinner when asked. At nine, he meets a girl with blazing red hair and a temper to match.
There was no going back.
From then on, Ashi's sleep is plagued with dreams. Shadows suck out his soul; four boys share stories under a tree. He holds an infant with a lightning-shaped scar; a boy with the same scar cries after him in anguish. Ashi cannot make heads or tails of these dreams, so he ignores them.
