"Taehyun-ah, what's wrong?" Beomgyu asked as he saw the troubled expression on Taehyun's face.
"I...I don't think we should talk anymore Sunbae," Taehyun muttered, avoiding Gyu's gaze."What? Why not?" Gyu asks, confusion and hurt creeping into his tone.
"Did I do something wrong?" Gyu pressed on, his heart falling with every word Taehyun spoke."We're not really friends outside of the project we worked on together, and now that's done, there's no reason for us to keep talking," Taehyun explains, hoping Gyu can't hear the sadness in his voice.
"I understand," Gyu replied, his voice choked with emotion " if this is what you want, I'll respect it. I'll miss talking to you, Tae."

He genuinely enjoyed spending time with Beomgyu but with yeonjun returning to the school the next day,he knew he would not be able to keep their friendship a secret.
