Summary
There once were two warriors, one a holy beacon of justice, and the other a violent specter driven by a desire to serve his demonic queen. The tales told of a great battle between these two, where the holy warrior reigned supreme, binding his evil counterpart to a stone in the middle of the woods, where only someone with a powerful soul could ever hope to free that evil spirit.
Fumika Kodama didn't believe in ghosts, nor did she think she was in possession of a powerful soul. However, when she accidentally transports herself back in time and awakens the demon of the cursed woods, binding her soul to his bloodthirsty blade, she discovers that ghosts are as real as they are dangerous. Now she must travel alongside the grumpiest ghost in existence on a quest to find an even stronger soul than her own so to sate the blade's hunger.
If she fails, then she must become its new undead consort...
