Steven Stone has had a good life. He has everything he ever wanted in it. Money, a place to call his own, good friends, prestige, fame, and a girl. Until one fateful day when the rug is pulled out from under him and gets a hole left in his heart along with a serious case of depression. Going on a mining expedition with one of his friends to try and keep himself occupied to try and take his mind off of what is bothering him, leads him to somebody that could help him get over the person who tore out his heart. However, when another person is introduced and is challenging him for the love of his maiden, Steven is forced to scramble and do almost anything he can to win the love of his maiden. Also, in the shadows there is an evil team working to try and take over the world. Will Steven be able to do anything or is he just too far out of his depth for all of these problems he is facing.

Or, Steven and Cynthia meet one day as strangers in the Sealed Chamber along Route 134 in Hoenn. It sets off an interregional chase, Steven in hot pursuit of the mysterious Cynthia, always seemingly one step ahead of him, until he finally captures her—or so it seems.

Both of them are the undefeated champions of Hoenn and Sinnoh with pure class, enchanting and glamorous presence, combined with their virtuous and righteous conduct, along with an avid interest in caves such as scavenging for gemstones and histories as hobbies, and an astute sense of fairness and justice. Whilst they stand above all, most of the people have the impression and belief that they are where they are because of having a silver spoon to be born into a wealthy and well-known family with ample means to develop their fighting skills to seek this kind of adulation and glory. But that only leads to severely undermining their painful pasts and obstacles they had to carve and crawl through to reach their hard-earned goal and top position. Perhaps if fate itself were to allure them to cross paths with each other again, they would finally realize that they aren't alone. They believe they have found someone who they can relate to, before completely losing themselves in the beautiful company of their significant other.
