If you had asked Annie to predict what would happen in the three years after she left Greendale, she probably would not have predicted so many threesomes.
Granted, she also would not have called that Jeff Winger would turn out to be bisexual either, so maybe that’s on her desperately-clinging-to-heterosexuality brain three years ago.
(In which we get our final Community bottle episode, secrets come to light, everyone turns out to be at least 2/7ths more queer than expected, apologies are finally made, and Troy and Abed are Getting Married.)

Summary
"That's nice," Shirley says as she takes her old seat between Reggie and Frankie. It feels somehow both wrong and right at once, like returning to an old home but finding that a new family has moved in.
Except- that's not quite right. Because the seats might be different, but she knows almost every soul here. Even Frankie is familiar, even if she's not the same. She's an echo of what once was.
And at the end of the day, aren't they all? None of them are who they were they first night, their first fight, their first moment of understanding, their first coming together. They are all echoes, shadows, of what they once were.
The Shirley that once forbade Jeff from her Christmas party is not the same Shirley who played foosball with him, not the same Shirley who got remarried in a study room, not the same Shirley that made Shirley Island and kicked ass in paintball and runs a sandwich shop and loves these misfits with all her aching heart.
Shirley's home here is as unshakeable as her faith. As comforting as kneeling in a pew and sending up a prayer.

Jeff can’t help it then, he breaks into a big grin and embraces them both. Troy and Abed hug him back, and Jeff is about to actually voice how happy (not, excited) he is to see them, when he notices another figure at the end of his hallway, holding up a camera.
“Guys, did you bring Garrett or do I need to worry that I’ve got a stalker?” Jeff asks. They pull apart and Troy and Abed look down the hall at him too.
“I’m filming our reunion episode, but I need to be able to be apart of that reunion, so I got Garrett to film for me,” Abed explains. “He’s my assistant on all my sets, he’ll do in a pinch,” He shrugs.
“It’ll be like he’s not here at all,” Troy reassures, which Jeff suspects he’s used to doing from living in L.A. with Abed. Jeff further suspects a lot of their antics involve Garrett following them around wielding a camera.Or,
A celebration brings the group back to Greendale for a reunion, but they're all haunted by secrets in their wake, and someone who is hell bent on revealing them all - no matter the cost.

Everyone has different threads that bind them to people in their lives. Upon first meeting someone, a specifically colored thread appears between the two people, tightens/solidifies, and glows. Once it has, then it fades. The threads can be walked through by those not affected, but those who are, are frozen, unable to move or speak.

Jeff Winger is one of the most sought after defense lawyers in the Denver/Greendale, Colorado area. He's spent years cultivating his reputation as one of the most compassionate, understanding lawyers around, one who can get anyone a Not Guilty verdict, and who fights tooth and nail for his clients. Which is why he gets a call from one of his coworkers, early in the morning, when he has been arrested for domestic abuse and domestic rape.
