Summary
This started as a random thought that grew into a full-blown obsession: what if it wasn't just Sephiroth that was Vincent's child, what if Hojo was throwing around Vincent's DNA like confetti and he has other kids he didn't know about? And then they start showing up?
Premise: Vincent and Cid got married and Shera was their surrogate for their baby daughter. One night, Sephiroth started showing up in their house and taking care of his little sister and they can't make him stop, so they just get used to it. Then Vincent finds out about his other son, Nero, who is deemed unfit to stand trial and remanded to his custody under house-arrest.
WARNING: this story contains a canonical incestuous relationship between half-siblings Nero and Weiss.
Chapter lengths are inconsistent at the beginning because it wasn't a proper fic yet, I was just posting blurbs randomly on tumblr 😅

Hello everyone. I'd like to introduce you to the beginning of this little alternative story which begins at the end of the Child of Gaia (end of Defragment me). It's actually an alternative ending that doesn't call into question the events of the previous stories. It will be relatively short, but I advise you to read the previous stories to understand how it unfolds.
I hesitated for a long time to write this part of the story, and it was originally intended to be part of the collection, but in the end I decided to make it a separate story. Happy reading!

Summary
For all intents and purposes, this is a novelization of Dirge of Cerberus, its online multiplayer, and two relevant chapters from Before Crisis.
However, I took enough creative liberties with the order in which scenes are shown that it doesn't feel quite right to officially title it an "unofficial novelization." The biggest example is that all the scenes with Grimoire, Lucrecia, and Vincent are compiled into the first chapter instead of scattered, out of order, throughout the game.

Après Météore, les Remnants en folie et le fiasco Deepground, Tifa espérait un peu de calme et de routine dans son bar.
Mais comme d'habitude, c'est fortement sous-estimer les tournants dramatiques que peuvent prendre la vie de Vincent Valentine.
Et quand celui ci vient se réfugier à Seventh Heaven et semble déterminer à vider sa réserve d'alcool pour noyer son dernier traumatisme, il devra compter sur le soutien moral qu'elle doit lui apporter avec l'aide de Cloud et Barret, leurs trois enfants (la dernière adoptée depuis moins de trois mois) l' "aide" (entre gros guillemets) que tentent d'apporter Cid et Yuffie, et Reeve, qui est juste là pour le drama. -
