The WonderlandsxShowtime troupe’s sponsors hired another performer last week, a gangly young man with messy brown hair that goes by Leo. When asked if he had chosen Leo as an alias for the Pokemon Litleo, he shook his head and pointed to the night sky. His black gloves caught the glow from the tent's electric lamps, the radiance making his hands shimmer.
“Leo, like the constellation. A proud lion sitting high in the sky, overlooking its kingdom.”
And he offers nothing else.
When an elusive young man joined his theater troupe, ringmaster Rui Kamishiro thought nothing of it. Another actor is another face he would mold to fit the next show and the one that follows after it. His background as a Coordinator might clash with the others in the troupe, but he did it with Emu, their resident League Finalist, he can do it with Leo.
But do the ringmaster really understands what he's gotten in his hands?

After a year of attending and performing on different workshops and theater groups that the Ootori brothers had recommended outside of Phoenix Wonderlands, the troupe is now set to return and perform once again at Phoenix Stage for their 31st Anniversary Show. As the troupe's reliable director, Rui arranged a script the night before for their troupe's rehearsals-- applying what he had learned from Director Oohara. However, his script will soon be criticized by a director whom he had met before.

Since Phoenix Lands creation, every twenty years, they perform a great play or theatrical piece in order to appease some older superstition. And for this play, eighteen year old Kusanagi Nene is wrapped up in their reenactment of 'The Scottish Play' and no matter what that do to appease that superstition, tragedy seems to continuously strike around the corner. And the acting is getting realer and realer and now WXS must either figure out why they follow the roles they do or succumb to the never ending play that Sakurako is already ensnared by as are others before it is too late.

Tsukasa looks up from his koto to see Nene, dressed in a very nice and fancy light green furisode, much like the one Emu wore when Tsukasa and Nene first met her. If he could go back to those times, he would. If Tsukasa could prevent that fight with Rui from happening, he would.

He missed Rui. It doesn’t matter that Rui doesn’t want Tsukasa in the way Tsukasa wants Rui, he just wants to be friends again. Even if it hurts. Especially if it hurts.

Tsukasa, a relatively renowned chef in a port town, one day hops on a boat and goes out to sea. There, he finds a man unconscious and floating on a plank of wood. Pitying the man's situation, Tsukasa decides to take him in, and now they live together.
The man, whose name was Rui, claims to be a geologist who specializes in marine minerals. Due to a recent shipwreck incident, he can't walk properly without tripping or stumbling. His injuries also prevent him from sailing back to his homeland and geologist society.
With the rise of sea people sightings, odd happenings and gift-giving lately, Tsukasa tries to grasp the true nature of the sea creatures whilst also wondering why Rui was making himself cosy in his temporary home.
