Sebastian's grandma was always the superstitious kind. All the elders of Stardew Valley were, believing in a deity of the earth and life alike. They attributed the oddities of the valley to him and praised him for abundance and life, no one questioning only subservient despite the odd howls in the wind and eerie creatures which lurked at every corner. So when a struggling city boy feigning interest in his grandfather's old property strolls on in one would think he would be deterred by the craziness this town was so deeply intertwined with- and yet why had it come to feel as though the farmer himself was the source of the land's mystery?

Sam and Sebastian have been best friends their whole lives. Nothing could change that… But ever since the farmer came, other things have been changing in Valley- Sam is trying to find a way to tell Sebastian about his longstanding crush on him, Sebastian is coming to terms with his more recent crush on Sam (while simultaneously battling depression and anxiety), Abby is trying hard to get over her old lover, and they all will have to confront their past. All of this and more take place in Starstruck! TRIGGER WARNINGS- Trauma, dark thoughts/depression, war, mentions of alcohol, and gayness. There’s also cussing and rude hand gestures. NOTE: These characters and the video game Stardew Valley belong to ConcernedApe and other Stardew Valley creators.

Summary
Satsuma fled from ZuZu City with one goal: staying alive. Once she got to Pelican Town, her plan was to stay out of sight and out of mind of the people that lived there. In some ways that plan would've worked, most people were hellbent on involving her in whatever ways they saw fit and when she was incapable of meeting those expectations they often lost interest.
But Sebastian is unlike most of the others in Pelican Town. He is much too observant for his own good and more than willing to deconstruct Satsuma's carefully maintained walls with the seemingly endless patience he has for her and her alone. Maybe that's because Sebastian has been stuck in place for so long that he yearns for a change that his mind won't allow him to reach for on his own. Maybe it's just that Satsuma meets him halfway. Regardless, his heart has other plans and he won't remain isolated for much longer.
Satsuma brings with her the possibility of change for many in Pelican Town. The question is, how willing is she to bring that change for herself despite the risks?

Harvey questions his integrity as a doctor when he prioritizes rescuing Kent from a POW encampment over helping those who need him. Meanwhile, Talla becomes increasingly suspicious of Harvey.
Alex decides to take Maru's advice seriously, resulting in him spending more time with the guys for gridball training. Maru feels left out and pours herself into her projects.
Elliott attends his brother's wedding with Penny as his plus one. The trip stirs up old feelings for each of them. For Penny, insecurity and self-doubt. For Elliott... something very different.

He knew this, and yet the only ending to that feeling of depression his mind could conjure up was for him to run away, to escape, to disappear, to just cease to exist. That urge to escape his depressing existence by ending it all - along with all possibilities of a future of happiness, a future of hope. A future where he enjoyed waking up and didn't feel a bitter sense of disappointment every time he opened his eyes.
He knew his mother would cry if she opened the door of his room to her son's dead body hanging from the ceiling.
