Sometimes people recognized him but he learned to ignore them over time, nothing some rum couldn't fix in the end. Some of them laughed at him, some wanted revenge but he hadn't lost all of his spark yet. If one dared to challenge James, he was going to fight back and win. Because behind all the rum and dirt, he was still capable to fight, he was still capable to win. Soon enough the people learned to leave him be and he was grateful for that, he didn't want to fight anymore.
An angsty fic where James is being overdramatic as always, makes the same mistakes all over again and Elizabeth just really wants to save her husband. And then there's some complicated love triangle, why does James never get a break.

The Sea has always been described as being dangerous, mysterious, powerful, and fathomless, as well as being temperamental, harsh, wild and untamable but also being beautiful, calm, gentle and playful. And that is exactly how Morgana Turner has been described as, as being like the Sea herself.
Maybe it's because Morgana has always have a deep and strong connection, a bond, to the Sea and it's life, but she has never been out to sea, not when her only family, her older brother, Will Turner, had settled down in Port Royal instead of continuing their search for their father.
