Richarlyson hobbled over, and she grins, moving to meet her brother half way to start up a conversation, maybe offer a flower, but before she could even go three steps forward a large crack sounded out, the cracks on Richarlyson’s shell dancing across his body causing him to still.
No one noticed when something started to leak from the cracks, an ache settles into her chest, and she drops to her knees, her voice caught in her throat as she stares.
Richarlyson doesn’t get up.
