That was the thing about love, it swept you up in a wave of dizzying emotion before tossing you back to shore. One moment it felt like he was drowning at sea and the next, washed up with the morning surf.
If love was the ocean, Satou was dry land. Firm and steady beneath his feet, always there to catch him when he washed ashore full of salt water and empty shells.
