I've always wanted to write fanfic about them, and now that I have improved on writing I feel like I can.
This story revolves around the new endings in the remake, where we see Josh survive and get saved. Josh ends up going to a mental hospital to get treatment. His parents made everyone believe he was dead so they wouldn't be humiliated by their son's actions. Sam is shown in the ending with signs of PTSD, so I also used that concept in the story. This is basically where they reunite.
