Everyone knew of Chibiusa’s future, so the Sailor Senshi made a plan.
If they were attacked, any child who didn't have a Sailor Crystal was to be kept away and hidden.
It was all to keep them safe…

Kino Makoto stared at the two injured beings before her. The older girl had the auburn haired boy wrapped in a tight hold, almost like she was afraid to let go.
“Ano…are you alright?”

“Mako.” Rei whispered brokenly.
“It was all to keep them safe.” Makoto whispered brokenly, staring at the smoldering patch of concrete.
Minako’s hand tightened on Makoto’s shoulder. “You couldn’t have known.”
