It seemed this would be the second battle she lost today. She cast her eyes downwards, feeling shame at her disgraceful inability to answer his question. As one last attempt, filled with more desperation than the others, she gazed back into his alluring orbs, her face slightly heating up at the sight of their unconditional beauty.Why couldn’t she answer him?
