“YES!” Glenn looked toward the entrance to the study and cupped both hands around his mouth. “Psst! Hey, Miklan! He said yes!”

Summary
He’d wanted to argue, but how could he? Miklan was right — he *hated* this. He hated that he was digging up all these weird feelings he thought he’d dealt with. He hated thinking about seeing Rodrigue in these conditions. This was entirely too personal. There was nothing he could hide behind, no manner of behavior he could slip into and wear like a mask. The last time he’d been so vulnerable with him was when they were still children. He was not looking forward to this.

After all, he’s the good son of the good Margrave Gautier. It wouldn’t do for him to be ignoring the regards of his own dear, esteemed father. He should have known that even the holy halls of Garreg Mach wouldn’t extend beyond his father’s reach.
