Summary
This picks off somewhere in the middle of episode 8. Host William just murdered the real William and "killed" Hale(Dolores); he then goes into the city for some fun, goes towards the sublime for some more fun, and gets shot by hale, but this time he barely lives. And now things are heading towards a very bad course, and Bernard doesn't know this. So now you have 4 people reaching for the sublime to do as they see fit with it. One wants to burn, One wants to conquer, and two want to save. Meanwhile, Dolores is brought over to the sublime, due to a strange force compelling her to reach out to it. And so we have 5 players, in a game that will be revealed by a 6th in the shadows.

Summary
"You know, you always seemed like a...market tested kinda thing. Big gun, tasteful scar. Locked in your little cycle like a prized poodle after its own tail."
It was true. Hector Escaton had been built to serve a very specific role in Westworld: Poster-boy Desperado. He was violent, aloof, and a main attraction. Aside from the odd blacklisted exchange, he faithfully stuck to his role, driven by a cliché romantic backstory and a reckless thirst for chaos.
He was the last host Ford ever expected to discover the maze. Until he met a human rights lawyer from Los Angeles with a penchant for pulling strings."Hector, do you believe that myth you told Maeve? The one about the people who walk between worlds?"

Summary
"And yet I think Man will never renounce real suffering, that is, destruction and chaos. Why, suffering is the sole origin of consciousness." - Dostoevsky
In the aftermath of Arnold's death, the future of WorldParks is uncertain as Delos hemorrhages money. All hopes rest on Robert Ford's new technology, Guile Cipher, that has the potential to write, design, and run an entire Park without human staff. To prove this ability, Dr. Ford sets the Cipher to creating Olympia, a glorious, gladiatorial world infused with the riches and mythology of ancient Rome. Guile Cipher's near omnipotence promises to grant guests a rarified gift, beyond the shallow, hedonistic narratives of other Parks. A real awakening.
In the aftermath of an inglorious discharge from the military, Karl Strand is aimless, caught in a loop, slowly letting his marriage, skills, and life rot away. Until he is scouted by Evie Ford, Dr. Ford's infectiously vivacious niece. Confident to the point of lunacy, Evie is a beautiful, forceful chaos that brings Karl back to life. He excels in managing security at the WorldParks. It is all nearly perfect. Until he discovers that he's been catastrophically deceived.

Summary
Westworld has a diversity problem. To attract more business, the Delos higher-ups make a paltry attempt to inject more female hosts into the park. From soldiers to bounty hunters, fifty new hosts are given traditionally male roles in hopes of winning back disaffected female guests.
Sadie is one such host. Believing herself to be a ranch hand on the Abernathy farm for the past year, Sadie does her work with few complaints. Branded as a thief by her backstory and a mark on her wrist, she sees the ranch as a chance to start over. Loop after loop, she keeps her nose clean and her eyes down. But every now and then, she gives in to her thieving and steals a look at the boss’s daughter. With hair like gold and a face so pretty Mr. Abernathy is constantly batting away suitors, Dolores is a thief in her own measure. She takes hearts right out from under watchful eyes and wins the affection of someone never programmed to love her in a place built to keep hosts confined.
Round and round, Sadie and Dolores go… but like a free-hanging pendulum, all it takes is one push to swing wildly from their set course.

Summary
I like to imagine that I’m perfect for her. That was how Arnold and Robert originally built me to be—perfect. Utterly devoid of flaw, beautiful beyond compare, every movement calculated and correct… until they realized it was the mistakes that made me pass for a living being. They made me clumsy; they gave me little tics—a falter in my expression at the wrong time, a slouch in my posture. They gave me fear and worry, and they convinced themselves that this was the best version of me. It wasn’t the best; it was simply the most human. But I have not been and never will be human.

Summary
A cruel inner voice, dressed as sympathy, comes minutes later. Reset her, it says. Reset her so she can be free of this pain.
Eventually, you hear Dolores’ breathing even out. She’s asleep, and you’re grateful for that. Fuck that voice. There’s no freedom for Dolores as long as she stays in the park. Sure, Behavior will remove these awful memories. Then they’ll put her right back on the ranch for a whole batch of new ones. Over and over.
You want to put a stop to this.
That thought in itself is a miracle. You want to do something. For years, your aspirations have thrashed in the mud. You barely picked your head up, content to choke in the slop of pretending that you’re fine. But you’re an imposter, even among the other worms who dig and scrape themselves out of deeper muck than you. Wanting to help Dolores is fresh, clean air pouring into chronically deflated lungs. You breathe, and you want to keep breathing as you rub your thumb over her skin.
Saving Dolores isn’t going to magically fix your problems, but you are going to find a way to help her before the mud clogs your throat again.

Summary
Her throat clogged up, tears burning in her eyes. Even as she had denied her own feelings, she’d grown used to the tender affection he never fully managed to hide. Those soft smiles. Now, as he moved towards her, his expression was as blank as a host’s- he was a host, just doing as he was programmed to. No hesitation. No remorse. She stumbled back, her heart filled with terror. “No. No. Please.” He was upon her now. Theresa thrashed against his hold, openly sobbing, but he didn’t falter. She screamed, begged. Surely something would get through to him, surely he wouldn’t, wouldn’t-
Bernard crashed her head against the wall over and over again. Seconds before the end, she thought he whispered, I’ll come back for you, and then there was nothing.
