Salvastino Parkway Psychiatric Hospital in Sandgem Town has a new patient by the name of Paul Belladonna, who seems to think he won't be staying here for long. In nearby Twinleaf Town, a woman named Dawn Aree-Chevalier comes to the institution every Sunday to volunteer, visiting the patients and presenting them with baked goods with each and every visit. However, after slowly getting to know each other, they have now become intertwined in each other's lives. Perhaps there is more than what meets the eye.
Paul is not a man who is in want of a lot of things, but when he does, he will do anything and everything to see to it that he can have it. Dawn is a woman who is in want of a lot of things, but when she does, she knows not to be greedy about it. Maybe their ideals can be swayed.
Everyone is hiding secrets one way or another. Let the secrets reveal themselves when the time is right.

Summary
Paul Kuromiya, the Grand Duke of Veilstone, is caught up in all sorts of chaos. First, he is made the Grand Duke of Veilstone when the title rightfully belongs to his older brother, Reggie. Second, he's the adoptive father and legal guardian to his nephew, Claude Kuromiya, who is Reggie and Maylene's son. Third, he is on the search for Ashton Ketchum, the long-lost son of Delia Ketchum. Ash Ketchum is an honorary prince to the obsolete imperial family of Kanto.
All Dawn Hiranchai wants is for her and her adoptive brother, Ash Ketchin, to be free of the debts they've inherited from their parents. Unfortunately, things have turned for the worse when a grand duke, a heiress to the richest family in all of Sinnoh, and a royal princess enter into her life. The surly grand duke especially vexes her, and she's positively certain that he has it out for her! If she weren't a commoner and he a noble, she'd give him a piece of her mind.
Misty could care less about being a lady and being part of an imperial and royal conspiracy, but she's dragged into the mess along with Ash Ketchin, who wants nothing more than to live a simple life in Twinleaf Town with his sister.
