Summary
This story is comprised of different scenarios pertaining either or both or all of my OCs and different OW characters. This is mainly for me to write and stuff but if you enjoy it then that's cool, too. In this AU, the overwatch game is a competitive TV show where every match is filmed and posted. It is loved worldwide and many love and adore the show and their players. It is highly betted on who will win or get the most kills. The players are all the overwatch characters and those behind the scenes such as my OCs will have different interactions with the players. Along with science, there are aliens so deal with it. It's a little confusing but in my mind makes sense. <3

"I’m sorry.” Genji sighs and then looks at Hanzo. “I’ll talk to them. You deserve to be here, brother."
Oh. Hanzo thinks. Of course this is about me. Hanzo almost wants to laugh at the situation. Of course they are wary of the murderer on the base. Before Genji can get up, Hanzo takes his hand.
“Don’t.” He says in Japanese, not really looking at Genji. “Is fine.” Hanzo turns back to his food. “It's not like I don’t deserve their wariness. I’m a murderer."
“Hanzo.” Genji looks at him in disbelief.
“Just let it be, Genji. Please.” Hanzo looks up, glancing quickly at Cole too, who is looking at him with concern. But Hanzo doesn’t care for him, but for his brother, his lost family, all Metal and circuits and silicone and flesh. All his fault. For a moment, Hanzo imagines what the pain was like, how many months, years, of physical therapy? Hanzo gulps, thinking about this happening to his daughter, how the clan could shape her if they knew she exists. -

Reader (y/n) was working on Overwatch during the tail end of it's Golden Age but after the 'Venice Incident' and the Petras Act they were put out of commission and blacklisted for 'conspiracy'. Now Reader has to start from square one and build their life back up again but very few employers will take in someone with your *ehem* history. Luckily for you though there are others watching from the shadows who could use your particular sets of skills.
This story follows the Overwatch Cinematics and begins around the time of Storm Rising, references and notes to previous events will appear and I'll try to make it easy to follow and connect the dots, apologies in advance for any confusion.
Also, like my other stories I've written this based on how I imagine the reader (thus it being tagged as femxfem) but I encourage and hope this won't deter any non-binary or male readers from enjoying this as well. The world of Overwatch is diverse, one reason why I enjoy it so much, but writing it this way makes it a lot easier for me

When Gabe stepped into the holding room, he was expecting some behemoth of a man to be beheld before him, covered in gnarly scars that spoke far more than he did, and maybe missing a limb or two. Not a child.
Maybe child was a strong word for him, but.. he was, to Gabe at least. Slumped in a solid metal chair, hands bound behind his back and his face covered by slightly greasy, mussed brown hair and the lip of a goddamned cowboy hat. The metal table that would have normally been infront of the boy was flipped on its side a little ways out of the centre of the room, and Gabe could only stare in confusion as the door clunked shut behind him.

Cole se contenta de finir son bol en silence, son début de sourire s’évanouissant dans le mouvement. Il posa sur Genji un regard vaguement méfiant, comme s’il cherchait où était le piège, avant de lâcher sans émotion notable :
"T’as rien à expliquer." Il marqua une infime seconde d’hésitation, à peine perceptible, avant d’ajouter : "t’es pas le Genji qui me doit des explications."
