BeaconTown has been on his list of destinations he's always wanted to visit, but when he finally gets there, he's shocked to find it's not all the tales and rumors have lived up to be. The BeaconTown he's been told of is no more. Many mysteries await him in town, and in the forest beyond it's border.

Summary
A single decision to leave Rueben in the treehouse during Endercon leaves Jesse alone in the belly of the Witherstorm, separated from the weapon supposed to save the world.
Moments later, a potion of leaping and the enchanted pickaxe clatters to the ground at Aiden’s feet, and the story begins to change.
Now, months after the Witherstorm’s defeat, Beacontown begins to suffer under the egotistical reign of their new hero in residence. Kicked out of the Ocelots and running from his guilt, it’s up to Lukas to expose his tyranny, especially when the discovery of an enchanted flint and steel puts other realms at risk, but very few are willing to work with him. As time ticks down on the fate of Beacontown, Lukas is left only with the remaining Order, an anxious accountant and the pig himself to stop the Ocelots.

An AU concept that I created back in 2018, and now is being written.
In a nutshell, take the story of "Fullmetal Alchemist" and put it after the events of Season 2 of "Minecraft Story Mode". (Would I even call this an AU or a canon divergence fic lmao)
That is pretty much what it is. Jesse and Lukas try to bring back Rueben with this ancient science called alchemy. But it doesn't go as well as planned, and now they are trying to find a way to restore their bodies.

It's a couple weeks after the admin incident, and everyone in Beacontown (while hopeful) are still on edge. Petra has gone off on her adventure. Olivia and Axel are about to return to their own towns. So now it'll just be Jesse, Lukas, Radar, and a couple of their other friends helping with the last of the rebuilding.
However, as the week goes on Jesse realizes that he's not out of the water yet. Turns out taking away an admin's power can lead to some unintended side effects. Side effects he never wanted in the first place... And he's not the only one.
