Summary
Essie has been living with her cousin, Ostin, since there was a string of disappearances in her hometown when she was nine. In the past few years, she's learned of their friend Michael's powers. How could these things be related? Why are there more children with electric powers? When Michael's mother goes missing, Essie, along with Ostin and Michael, heads to California to save her from the Elgen corporation. What does it mean when one of the electric children is one of the kids who went missing in her hometown six years ago? What are the Elgen planning? How will their group of misfits help save the world?
