“Turtle, hey,” he called out softly, not wanting to startle him. Plus he’d rather avoid waking up anyone nearby. “Why’re you awake?”
Turtle whirled around to face him, eyes wide and brimmed with tears.
So much for not wanting to scare him, Qibli frowned.
Although Turtle hadn’t replied yet, Qibli already figured out the answer. He wasn’t the only dragon fighting nightmares tonight, it seemed.
